
Lissandro, for most people Liss , is a beach volley coach Italo - Brazilian, with an international prestigious career.
He began his international career as technical director of beach volleyball in 2009 with FIPAV (Italian Volleyball Federation) entrust him the female senior and junior sector, building a female project in view of the 2012 London Olympics.
From that moment Lissandro led the Italian Beach Volleyball Women's National Team for almost ten years, and he has won numerous achievements and historical results.

In the youth sector he has obtained four medals between
2009 and 2011:
- Gold European Final Cev U 20 (2009)
- Silver European Final Cev U 23 (2011)
- Silver World Championship U 20 (2010)

In the seniors sector, he creates a working group consisting of a selection of athletes with experience of Serie A in Volleyball, Valeria Rosso, Lucia Bacchi, Greta Cicolari, Elisa Cella and young hopeful athletes including Marta Menegatti, Laura Giombini, Viktoria Orsi Toth.
The first successes soon followed, and in October 2010 he won the first silver medal historical for Italy in a World tour with team Rosso - Menegatti.

Subsequently Marta Menegatti was flanked by Greta Cicolari with whom, within three years, they reached the top of the world ranking winning 7 medals in the World Tour, the Gold Medal at the European Cev final in 2011 and obtained the Olympic qualification for London 2012 which will end with a 5th place.

In 2013 he joined Marta Menegatti with Viktoria Orsi Toth, a young athlete who grew up within the project over the years, and at the second tournament together immediately centered two semi-finals at the Grand Slam in Moscow and at the Grand Slam in San Paolo.
Menegatti Orsi Toth reached very fast the top of Mondial ranking, they won 5 medals in two years at the World Tour and in 2015 they won the first historic gold medal for Italy at the World Tour.



In 2016, for the first time in history, the team Menegatti-Orsi Toth was in first place leading the World Ranking for 5 consecutive months gaining the Olympic qualification for the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro 2016.

At the Seniors level the teams of the women national team he followed, were placed between 2010 and 2016 continuously between the 3rd and 10 ranking of the World Ranking.
In the Olympics Game, he qualified and led the female teams in the London 2012 Olympic Games and in Rio De Janeiro 2016. finishing 5th and 9th place.



In 2014 he left Italy for a year to fill the role of Technical Director of the Kazakhstan National of Beach Volley.
In a single season, Mashkova-Tsimbalova wins the first historical gold medal for Kazakhstan in the prestigious Asian tournament, the Asian Beach Games.

In 2017 he is contacted by the French Volleyball Federation which instructs him to do an audit on the French beach volleyball sector and build a 7 year project towards the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in which France aims to arrive with very competitive pairs.
In 2018 he was appointed as head of the Olympic project to Paris in 2024 and Head Coach of the beach volleyball field.

During his first year he gets a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona 2018 and the first historical gold medal for women's beach volleyball at a World Tour in Montpellier in September 2018.
In March 2019 he reached the first semifinal of a FIVB 3* tournament in Sydney with the male team Krou-Rowlandson in their 5th tournament together since September 2018.



COMPETENCE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Before becoming a professional trainer, was formed at the University of Computer Science and was hired by an important Brazilian public company in which he worked for 15 years, becoming the manager of the sector: the characteristics that characterize him most, the leadership, the ability to manage large work groups, to plan, problem solving and decision making, he has poured into his career as a coach with excellent results as well as technical responsible for the sector.

During his mandatory in Italy, beyond the qualification of beach volley coach, he obtains the 3rd level qualification as a volleyball coach, the highest qualification of the Italian system and pursues the studies at the University of Motor Sciences.
In the field of training he is engaged as a teacher in the FIPAV courses for the qualifications of master and coach of beach volleyball and update courses.

In 2014 he was called by the Cev to take part in an important meeting as an expert coach in the training and development of elite athletes :

In 2016 he took the qualification of business and sports coaching attending the course at the University of Turin held by Giuseppe Vercelli, official sport psychologist of the italian Olympic Committe Coni and football Club Juventus.
In 2018 he gets the certifications in Psychology of high performance sports and in Sports Psychology for the development of athletes at the University courses organized by football Club FC Barcelona .
